To charge screw onto the charger cable and place the USB connector into a USB 5v port. Do not over tighten. The green led changes to red when charging and returns to green when charged. A fully discharged battery will take approx. 2 hours to charge. Try to keep the battery topped up for best performance.
The battery can be turned off by clicking the button 5 times quickly. To turn back on click 5 times. When using the battery hold the button down to energise your attached device and release after each draw. Be gentle with the button no need to press it hard !
Useful life is estimated at 300 recharges and the battery is warranted for 30 days.
Filling your CE4 Clearomizer tank
To fill your Ce4 clearomizer you need to remove the mouthpiece, do this by gently unscrewing it from the tank. There is a small O-ring in place on the mouthpiece that is there to avoid leaks once the unit is filled be careful not to lose or misplace this O-ring because without it you may experience leaks. Now you have removed the mouthpiece you can start to fill the tank with your E-juice, fill the tank by slowly dripping the E-juice down the side of the tank whilst being careful not to get any inside the silver tube that is on top of the post that runs directly down the centre (this is made easy by tilting the tank at an angle as you fill). Fill the tank to the desired level but never above the point where the white wicking material enters the centre post. Now the tank is filled push the mouthpiece complete with O-ring back onto the tank and then gently screw together, whilst doing this hold the filled tank in an upright position to avoid spillage. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. Now that you have completed the above and your tank is filled and has been put back together it is a good idea to run a simple check to ensure no E-juice has accidentally gone down the centre post, Do this by taking a dry puff on the Ce4 if you hear a burbling sound you have most likely got some E-juice in the centre post, this will need to be cleared before use. To remove the liquid from the centre post simply blow through the mouthpiece to force it down through the bottom of the clearomizer and then wipe dry and repeat if needed.
Using your CE4 Electronic Cigarette
When screwing onto the battery DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. As you are using the Ce4 if you occasionally tilt it to ensure the E-juice is being soaked into the wicking material this will stop you possibly using the unit dry and will stop you possibly burning the wick. You can also occasionally unscrew from the battery and blow through from the base to help wicking or take a couple of draws without energising the battery. When your E-juice level starts to get low and you want to refill always remove the Ce4 clearomizer from the battery and repeat the filling instructions above to avoid accidentally flooding your battery. A well filled clearomizer gives the best flavour. Always keep external parts and screw thread on the Ce4 clearomizer clean, dry and free from dirt.
Cleaning the CE4 Clearomizer
To clean out your Ce4 unscrew the mouthpiece and as before ensure you do not lose the O-ring, empty any excess E-juice and then run hot water (or Vodka) into the tank and shake and empty repeatedly until you are satisfied that the Ce4 is suitably clean. Shake out any excess water and make sure the unit is dry before re-using. A common problem after cleaning is that the unit has not been dried completely and may appear to no longer produce vapour, this is because the wicking material is still wet and has absorbed water which will have to be replace with E-juice as water does not produce vapour, taking a few vapes once filled will
normally take care of this as the water is evaporated and E-juice has absorbed back into the wicking material.
CE5 Rebuildable Clearomizer with knurled base sold with the E-kit CE5 version and also sold separately
The CE5 can be fully disassembled so you can replace the “head” (wick and coil assembly) whenever you want to clean or repair the Clearomizer. The head can be purchased as a separate component at a much lower cost than buying the entire CE5.

Maintenance
Once the flavour becomes undesirable, the head can be replaced by first removing the CE5 from the battery. Always grip the textured
section on the base when removing or connecting to the battery.
It is best to be at a sink with a paper towel when swapping heads.
Empty the CE5 into the sink or into another CE5 before replacing the head.
Whilst holding the knurled portion of the base, unscrew the bottom metal portion of the shell and pull out slowly. Dry the core, wick, and base with a paper towel.
To remove/replace the head.
Pull off the silicone cap from the bad head. (the slots on the metal are much easier to grip) Unscrew the head from the base and discard.
Remove the silicone cap from the new head. (don’t discard) Screw the new head tightly onto the base using the slots in the metal for grip.
Push the silicone cap onto the new head. Screw the shell assembly onto the base and fill with liquid as described in the filling section. Depending on frequency and method of use, the vapour /flavour can remain ok from 1-4 weeks
Cleaning
The heads and tank can be cleaned. Empty any excess E-juice and then run hot water (or Vodka) into the tank and shake and empty repeatedly until you are satisfied that the CE5 is suitably clean. Shake out any excess water and make sure the unit is dry before re-using. A common problem after cleaning is that the unit has not been dried completely and may appear to no longer produce vapour, this is because the wicking material is still wet and has absorbed water which will have to be replace with E-juice as water does not produce vapour. Taking a few vapes once filled will normally take care of this as the water is evaporated and E-juice has absorbed back into the wicking material
Leaking ?
Sometimes a small knock or carrying unprotected in a pocket can cause the plastic tank to move slightly away from the smooth metal base collar. This can cause a leak at the base or move the mouthpiece away from the silicone coil head cap and then leak down the center tube. To cure remove from the battery and place standing upright on a firm surface. Apply firm pressure on the mouthpiece with the heel of your hand and you will feel the plastic tank “pop” back into place.

Steeping Advice for e-liquids
Guide to Steeping - The Why & How
A question often asked is “What is steeping?”, closely followed by “How long should I steep a Liquid”?
Essentially steeping (in the context that we are interested in, i.e. for e-liquids), is a process, or number of process, used to blend, age and mature an e-liquid, to the point where the best flavour can be obtained from vaping it.
Steeping can be observed in the manufacture of lots of things, for example, alcohol and the food industry. Anyone that’s made a Christmas pudding will know about allowing it time to mature and develop, or soaking the fruit in an alcohol overnight (steeping).Steeping will provide the best possible flavour from our e-juice by rounding out any harsh flavours, blending multiple flavours together, developing, maturing or ageing flavours. Flavourings need to completely diffuse into the types of base liquids we use, these need time to bond molecularly with any single or combination of base liquids used in a mix (Nic base, PG, VG, etc).Steeping methods that have been tried and tested and proved (if not always scientifically) vary and some are listed below.
Steeping will nearly always improve a e-liquid, I don’t know of any that have worsened.
Various methods used to steep e-liquids
Time. The first and most traditional method of steeping is “Time”. Leaving the top off the bottle (allowing air to get to it) will steep and improve a juice by itself, this is usually done by placing the opened bottle in a warm dark place for anything from a day or two up to a week, occasionally giving the bottle a squeeze to expel the air in it and replenish it with fresh air. Benefits are naturally steeped and matured juice, disadvantage, the length of time it takes. Steeping however, in particular the time element, can be reduced by also employing a number of additional methods.
Agitation. Vigorous shaking, stirring, etc will help, allow time for the air bubbles to rise to the surface and then repeat again (as many times as you can/want).
Water Bath Heating. Putting the bottle of juice in a warm (not hot) water bath will shorten the time it takes to mature a juice, it firstly thins the liquid and allows interchange and fusion at a molecular level. However, Heat is an enemy of Nicotine, it will degrade the Nic content if too hot. Warm not Hot water is advised.
Microwave. Another method of heating is a microwave. This acts like above, but also has another action thought to do with increased molecular particle fusion when juice is blasted with microwaves. Once again, Heat is an enemy of Nicotine, so use in short 1 sec bursts to get it warm, not hot. Oh, and take the cap off first. Using any (or a combination) of the above methods and then allowing time in a warm dark place, will improve any e-liquid considerably. Other agitation methods have been employed successfully, including placing bottles in a rotating polisher (for polishing gem stones etc), using a vibrating electrical orbital sander, one report of a person wrapping a bottle in cloth and putting it inside the hubcap of his car for the duration of his daily travel.
Ultrasonics. This method combines Vibration from ultrasonic frequency or pulses of energy, with or without a warm water bath, reports have been very encouraging when using this method, some say reducing 2 weeks of steeping time to a single day. Chemical additions. There are new developments all the time, and I am sure that development on this is ongoing, however at this time no successfully reported methods have been noted and anyway, I am not a lover of adding chemicals. So I can see the next question is going to be…..
How long do I let a juice steep? The Answer is “As long as it takes”. No two juices are the same, or will taste the same to you or me…. I would suggest the only person that can answer that is you…. It may be as little as a day or two. But, you will have to experiment, one thing is definite, given time to mature and using some of the methods above, they will improve from the first opening of a bottle. This is a recommendation for all shop purchased e-liquids not just ours, all will improve with some steeping, manufactures usually bottle as soon as a juice is made, this halts the steeping process to a degree, employing the "cap off and dark warm place method", will improve 99.9% of juices. I am sure that many users do not obtain the full potential from purchased juices because they do not allow adequate time for it to mature and reach its optimum flavour. Employing some of the above methods will hopefully reduce the “wait time”, and give you more pleasure from your chosen juice.
